for their performance as part of South Dublin Live on The Plaza, Saggart Village.
Formed in 2022 as a collective of performers with connections to South Dublin County and the Artscope Revival of Live Programme, The Rubik’s Ensemble is made up of more than 20 very talented musicians and singers across many genres of music, with a common interest in creating new sounds, new music as well as new arrangements of existing music.
The Ensemble takes its name from the concept of the Rubik Cube – different instruments, different musical personalities, different colours of music with the performers combining in many different combinations of duets, trios, quartets, soloists with Ensemble member as backing vocals and musicians, and each performance programme offering something very different and rarely coming together in the same formations!
